Sourcing
From paddock to pouch, with receipts.
Most collagen brands will tell you their product is high quality. Very few will tell you where it came from. This is the entire chain — every hand our collagen passes through between a paddock in New South Wales and the scoop in your kitchen.
The chain
Seven stages, no gaps
If we can't name who does a stage and show you their certification, we don't use that stage.
-
1
The herd
Four family-run stations, three in the NSW Northern Tablelands and one in Southland. Open pasture, grass-fed and grass-finished — no feedlot finishing, no hormone growth promotants, no grain top-up in the final months.
We work with the same four properties every year. We are not a broker and we do not buy on the spot market, which is the single biggest reason most brands can't tell you where their collagen is from.
-
2
Zabihah processing
Slaughter is performed by Muslim slaughtermen according to zabihah requirements — the animal facing the qiblah, the tasmiyah recited over each animal individually, a single cut, and full exsanguination.
The facility is under standing supervision by the certifying body, not audited once a year and left alone. There is no stunning method used that is prohibited under the certification we hold, and no porcine material enters the site at any point.
-
3
Hide selection
Our peptides come from bovine hide, which is naturally rich in Type I and Type III collagen — the two types that make up the majority of human skin, hair, nails and connective tissue.
We don't use hoof, horn or bone meal. They're cheaper and they yield a different, coarser amino acid profile, and you can usually taste the difference.
-
4
Enzymatic hydrolysis
The collagen is broken into short peptide chains using food-grade enzymes and water. No ethanol, no acid stripping, no chemical solvents — which matters both for the halal status and for what ends up in the finished powder.
We hydrolyse to an average molecular weight of roughly 2,000 daltons. Small enough to dissolve cold and absorb readily; not so aggressively broken down that the peptide profile goes to waste.
-
5
Batch testing
Each batch is tested by an independent NATA-accredited laboratory for heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury), microbial load, moisture and peptide profile.
A batch that fails is destroyed, not blended down into a passing batch. Certificates of analysis are available on request against your batch code.

Filling & sealing
Filled and sealed in Melbourne into a 300g resealable stand-up pouch — nitrogen-flushed to displace oxygen, foil-lined to keep light out, and batch-stamped on the back seam.
Thirty serves per pouch at ten grams a serve. Unflavoured, because flavouring is where fillers and sweeteners get in.

What we refuse to do
A sourcing page is only meaningful if it also tells you what we've ruled out — including the options that would make this product cheaper.
No porcine. Ever.
Not in the collagen, not in the capsules, not on the production line, not in the facility. The overwhelming majority of the world's collagen and gelatin supply is porcine — this single rule is what makes the sourcing hard.
No proprietary blends
A proprietary blend is a legal way to avoid telling you how much of anything you're getting. We have one ingredient and a stated dose, so there's nothing to hide behind.
No spot-market buying
Buying whatever is cheapest each quarter is how brands lose track of their own supply chain. We take the same four properties every year, at a worse price, on purpose.
No unnamed suppliers
If we can't tell you who did a stage, we don't use that stage. Where a supplier asks for commercial confidentiality, we walk — that request has never once come from someone with nothing to hide.
Traceable, certified, unflavoured
Now you know where it's from.
One pouch. Thirty serves. Ten grams of Type I & III peptides a day, and a batch code that answers for itself.
