Your hands give out SAVE 50%

It is not one thing. It is the pan, the pin, the plaits, the tray, the wet cloth — small movements, forty times a day, and your hands are the part that stops first.

If three of these are true, this page is for you

Not symptoms. Just the specific things you have already noticed.

  • The pan off the hob. You use two hands now for the one you used to lift with one.
  • Kneading. Ten minutes in, it is your thumbs that stop, not your arms.
  • The hijab pin, the necklace clasp, the button at the cuff. Small fastenings take three attempts.
  • Plaiting your daughter's hair, and your fingers ask you to stop before she is ready.
  • Wringing out a cloth after wudu. A small thing. You noticed it anyway.
  • The shopping in one trip. You used to. Now it is two, and you set the bags down halfway.
  • Your nails split down the side and peel back in layers, and the polish is what is holding them together.

The small movements come back first.

The specific things that come back, roughly in the order they come back

  • Nails that bend instead of splittingYou stop filing them back to the quick, and nothing glued on top for Eid.
  • The pin, the clasp, the button at the cuffFirst time. Not third.
  • Ten minutes of kneading without stoppingYour thumbs last as long as the rest of you does.
  • The pan off the hob in one movementBoth hands, all the way to the table, without asking anyone to take the other end.
  • The shopping in one tripBoth hands, all the way from the car, without setting them down halfway.
  • 10g, unflavoured, in your morning drinkOne ingredient. Dissolves clear. That is the whole routine.

Nails move first. The rest takes longer.

We would rather lose the sale than have you quit in week three.

  1. Month 1 The habit, not the result. Ten grams a day, and the nail that will carry the change has not grown out yet.
  2. Month 2 The new nail reaches the tip. Splitting down the side is usually the first thing anyone notices.
  3. Month 3 The small fastenings. The pin, the clasp, the button — first time instead of third.
  4. Month 4+ The kneading, the pan, the shopping in one trip. The things you had quietly started handing to someone else.

What our customers actually wrote

My nails were paper-thin. After two pouches they're stronger than they've been in a decade.

Sofia N. Auckland, NZ

Two pouches

Finally a halal collagen I can actually trust. Nails stopped chipping after 3 weeks.

Aisha K. Sydney, AU

Week 3

6 weeks in. Nails strong. Skin glowing. Ordering the 4-pack next.

Ayesha R. London, UK

Week 6

Individual experiences. Collagen is a food, not a treatment, and results vary between people.

What this is not, and we would rather say it here

This is not a painkiller and it is not an anti-inflammatory. Pain at the base of the thumb that wakes you at night, numbness or pins and needles in the fingers, or a finger that locks shut in the morning is worth a doctor's appointment — carpal tunnel and De Quervain's are extremely common, particularly after a pregnancy and a year of lifting a child, and both are treatable by someone who is not us.

A hand therapist will do more for a specific hand than we will. Collagen is the raw material. Take both, in that order of importance.

The photograph test

Before your first scoop, photograph your own hands with today's date written on a scrap of paper beside them. Put it somewhere you will not lose it.

Take the same photograph the day you finish the second pouch. If you cannot tell the two apart, email us and we will refund you. Pouches empty, no forms.

Questions worth asking

How do I actually take it?

Ten grams — one scoop — in whatever you already drink. Tea, coffee, water. It is unflavoured and dissolves clear, so nothing about your morning has to change. That matters more than it sounds: the people who stop are the ones who had to build a new habit around it.

How long before my nails change?

You have to grow a new nail, and fingernails grow roughly three millimetres a month — so the earliest anything shows is the new nail reaching the tip. Plan on three months and judge it at the end of the second pouch.

The base of my thumb hurts when I turn a key. Is that this?

Possibly, and possibly not. Pain at the base of the thumb in women over forty is common and it has more than one cause, some of which need a hand therapist or a GP rather than a pouch. If it wakes you at night, if the joint looks swollen, or if it is worse month on month — get it looked at. This is a food, and it is not a substitute for that.

I'm pregnant or breastfeeding.

It is a food and it is a single ingredient, but ask your midwife or GP before adding anything. We would rather you checked.

Will it break my fast?

Yes — nine grams of protein a serve. Suhoor, or after maghrib.

Certified halal?

End to end, certificate on request. Most gelatin and collagen worldwide is porcine, and “halal friendly” is not a standard — it is a phrase that costs nothing to print. Ours is an audited chain of custody from the herd forward.
